MDLive, a Sunrise, Fla.-based provider of telehealth services and software, has raised $23.6 million in new equity funding from Heritage Group, Sutter Health and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. Existing backers include Sentara Healthcare and John Sculley. www.mdlive.com

Osprey Capital has acquired Orange Line Holdings Inc., a Los Angeles-based distributor of bulk motor lubricants, from Ferro Management Group. No financial terms were disclosed. FocalPoint Securities managed the process.

IPOs

Party City, an Elmsford, N.Y.-based party supplies retailer, has filed for a $500 million IPO. Goldman Sachs and BofA Merrill Lynch are serving as co-lead underwriters. Shareholders include Thomas H. Lee Partners (69.44% pre-IPO stake) and Advent International (23.87%). TH Lee acquired its stake in 2012 via a $2.7 billion transaction. www.partycity.com

Windjammer Capital Investors has sold Automatic Bar Controls (a.k.a.
