Pickup trucks are generally recognized more for their utility than their creature comforts. But Ford may very well change that Monday by launching the F-150 Limited, which will have truck drivers thinking they’re in a sports car.
The new edition of Ford’s popular truck comes with 22-inch polished aluminum wheels, a special grille, chrome tow hooks and Mojave leather seats, among other perks, reports SlashGear. It packs a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 365 horsepower at 20MPG combined city and highway driving.
The F-150 Limited builds on a new aesthetic Ford is working on for its flagship pickup, which it recently began making for the first time with an aluminum body. The F-150 has long been America’s best-selling pickup, an ace in the sleeve for Ford as it continues to undergo a rapid transition under CEO Mark Fields.
