The organization announced last week that it was planning the campaign, which Politico reported would involve negative campaign ads against the controversial frontrunner, sparking a heated Twitter battle between the two candidates. The $2.5 million campaign is backed by nearly a dozen big Republican donors who, Reuters reports, support various candidates, not just Kasich.

The spot shows clips of some of Trump’s most controversial moments, from questioning John McCain’s “war hero” title to saying that he might date Ivanka Trump if she weren’t his daughter. It reminds us of certain quotes that have been deemed racist and sexist, while superimposing questions on the screen about his leadership capabilities.

The campaign ad, part of a digital buy in Ohio and New Hampshire, was released on Monday to coincide with a Trump campaign rally in Ohio scheduled for the same day.

A press release by New Day For America explains that the message of the ad is that Ohioans can’t trust Trump. A plane and banner were scheduled to circle the convention center, where Trump will appear for his rally, between 3 and 5 p.m. with that same message: “Ohioans Can’t Trust Trump.”

A spokesperson for the organization, Connie Wehrkamp, states in the press release:

As usual, I’m sure tonight will be really entertaining, but as Mr. Trump prepares for his latest nonsensical rant, Brussels is on lockdown, Paris remains under a state of emergency and cities across America are implementing measures to prevent a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. The times are far too serious to entrust American’s ‘entertainer in chief’ with the grave responsibilities that come with the title of commander in chief. We can’t trust Donald Trump and New Day For America is committed to reminding voters of that between now and the primaries.

Trump’s campaign could not immediately be reached for comment.
