Apple Music is landing on wireless speaker and audio system Sonos.
The streaming music service will become available to Sonos customers on Dec. 15 as a public beta, expanding to general availability in early 2016, Sonos said on Monday. Apple (AAPL) first promised customers it would extend its service to Sonos back in June, when it said it would arrive by the end of the year.
Users will be able to access all of Apple Music’s features via Sonos, except for “Connect,” according to BuzzFeed. That feature lets music artists connect with and share content with their fans.
An Apple Music integration is a no-brainer. Sonos already lets customers stream music via Spotify, Deezer, Pandora (P), and other services. More than 90% of the music Sonos customers listen to comes from streaming, Sonos co-founder and CEO John MacFarlane told BuzzFeed.
Sonos previously offered access to Beats Music, which was eventually shut down as Apple focused its energy on Apple Music, which it unveiled in June and made available to customers a month later.
