Despite customers’ enthusiasm for McDonald’s introduction of an all-day breakfast, some employees aren’t pleased with the change.

A number of Reddit users who claim to work or have worked at the fast-food establishment took to the Internet forum to gripe about their experiences, as Mashable reports. A self-identified former employee sparked the discussion after posting a question on one of the site’s threads concerning Australia, where the company’s meal option debuted at the end of last year: “How do you manage it all without falling behind?”

Respondents complained of limited workspace, jammed equipment, time delays when cooking, difficulty cleaning, and high turnover rates at their respective “Macca’s” restaurants, as Aussies call the chain. Most used colorful language.

“Basic creates a lot more work for people out back in terms of preparation and cleaning but of course no more labour hours to compensate for that extra work,” responded a user named Itsbishi. “It sucks.”

Another Reddit user named Famous_felix agreed with that assessment: “I wish maccas would just go back to cheap and simple stuff,” the user wrote. “Always changing the menu and trying to be ‘a little bit fancy’ just means its harder to make sure there are trained people in the kitchen.”

The commenter added: “Turnover for the past few years has been crazy because who the fuck wants to work for shit pay and then expect to pull miracles out of their ass and still get shouted at.”

Yet another user named Doctorzaps vented his or her frustration in an expletive-laden tirade. “I’m currently on my lunch break (while at maccas) and all day breakfast fucking sucks. After about 3 we do cook to order breakfast which takes up so much fucking time, I work at a new store that opened up 4 months ago so space isn’t really an issue but cleaning the grills to put down sausage is a bitch.”

“Also it’s a massive pain in the ass,” Doctorzaps added. “Also we do fall behind, like all the time.”

Some users did come to the company’s defense, however. “Overall it hasn’t been too bad changing to all day breakfast,” wrote user Deamonloard. “It’s definitely made the transition to main menu alot easier as we can change the egg grill over earlier and cook the eggs on their own grill.”

McDonald’s (MCD) did not immediately reply to Fortune’s request for comment; however, an Australia rep for the company told Mashable that the program has received a “positive response,” and that it has been “running smoothly” in some areas for months.

“I work next to a Hungry Jacks and they are doing all day breakfast now too,” wrote another user under the alias baronvoncarson, questioning the industry’s existential meal-bending shift. “Why is everyone doing it all of a sudden?”

In fact, the baron’s query is not a McConundrum. McDonald’s all-day breakfast strategy has boosted long-slipping sales, and other fast food chains—like Yum Brands (YUM) Taco Bell—have taken note. Meanwhile, the program has taken a bite out rivals’ revenues, like Dunkin’ Donuts (DNKN).
