In an interview with USA Today, Trump said that he’s smoothed over his harsh interactions with many Republican primary candidates who have since dropped out of the race–and he might even be interested in bringing them on to his team.

“Yes. I like Marco Rubio. Yeah. I could,” Trump said in an interview with USA Today in response to a question about offering the Florida senator a spot in his administration. “There are people I have in mind in terms of vice president. I just haven’t told anybody names.”

Trump also name-checked Ohio governor John Kasich (who is still limping along in the race) and Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, who aggressively campaigned for Ted Cruz in his state’s primary against Trump. “I hit him very hard…But I’ve always liked him. There are people I like, but I don’t think they like me because I have hit them hard,” Trump said of Walker. During the Wisconsin primary, Trump frequently criticized Walker for his handling of the state’s affairs.

In response to Trump’s comment, Walker didn’t explicitly rule out becoming the candidate’s vice presidential pick, though he said he was focused on being governor. “It’s kind of interesting to hear that after the things that were said about me a couple weeks ago,” Walker told the Wisconsin State Journal. “It’s almost breathtaking that I was listed in the first place.”
