Well, we know Jennifer Lawrence won’t be voting for Donald Trump this coming presidential election.
During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show with Johnny Depp and her X-Men: Apocalypse costar James McAvoy, Norton asked whether she ever met Trump, the current frontrunner for the GOP nomination. She didn’t, but came close.
“I was at a concert that I heard he was attending. So I had my full security, I was like, ‘Find Donald Trump,’” she said. “I was adamant on finding him and making a video of me going, ‘Hey, Trump. F– you!’”
“I think he knew I was looking for him,” she added.
Lawrence offered the tale after Depp dished on his turn playing Trump in the Funny or Die video, “#FODTrumpMovie.” The actor said he “loved the idea” of playing him. “I didn’t care if I knew if I was capable or not. I wanted to try,” he said before remarking, “You don’t wanna be Donald Trump.”
Lawrence previously remarked on Trump during an interview with herHunger Games costars with EW. “If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world,” she said, adding, “I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment.”
