“Vice News Tonight” is a daily newscast that will air on the network each weeknight starting September 26. The New York Times writes that the half hour show will be broadcast 48 weeks out of the year, and it’s being overseen by Bloomberg Media veteran Josh Tyrangiel.

“We’re going to have to earn people’s time and attention with great reporting and original forms of storytelling,” Tyrangiel told the Times. Vice has already hired various journalists who used to work for prominent media outlets including MSNBC, the BBC, the Guardian, and the New York Times. The news show is supposed to appeal to younger viewers who likely feel disenfranchised from more traditional outlets like CNN and Fox News.

Vice began working with HBO about three years ago when it launched its weekly magazine, “Vice.” The company also introduced its own cable channel, Viceland, earlier this year, and it recently announced that it will be producing and distributing content in partnership with ESPN.
