The ride-hailing company has settled a lawsuit brought by two women who say they were sexually assaulted by Uber drivers and that the company was responsible, according to Bloomberg. Terms of the settlement haven’t been disclosed, but U.S. District Judge Susan Illston in San Francisco moved to dismissed the case on Thursday, according to filings in the case.

In May, Judge Illston rejected Uber’s argument that it shouldn’t be held liable for attacks by its drivers because it classifies them as independent contractors and not employees.

One of the plaintiffs, identified as Jane Doe 1, alleged that in February 2015 in Boston, her driver sexually assaulted her after dropping off her friend, according to the report. Jane Doe 2, the second woman, said that her driver took a detour during a ride in August 2015 in Charleston, S.C. so he could “viciously rape her.”

And Uber spokesman declined to comment on the settlement.

This isn’t the first such court settlement for Uber. In 2015, it settled with a woman in New Delhi who claimed a driver raped and beat her. Earlier this year, the company also settled a lawsuit over the claims it made about the quality of background checks it conducted on drivers. As part of the settlement, it has agreed to no longer say that its background check were “the gold standard,” among other claims.
