“I want to see what happens, you know, how it goes,” Trump, asked if he would accept the results of the presidential election, told an Ohio radio station Tuesday morning as voters went to the polls.

“You know, you want to see,” he added, in remarks reported by CNN. “You hear so many horrible stories and you see so many things that are wrong. So we’ll take a look. Certainly I love this country and I believe in the system, you understand that.”

Trump earned widespread condemnation from across the political spectrum during the final presidential debate when he declined to commit to accepting the election results. “I’ll keep you in suspense,” he said. The following day at a rally in Ohio, he said: “I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election—if I win.”

He has repeatedly—and inaccurately—denounced the electoral process as rigged, without offering any evidence.
