According to a report from NBC News, among those being considered are: Rudy Giuliani for attorney general, Newt Gingrich for secretary of state, retired Lt. Gen Michael Flynn for defense secretary or national security adviser, Trump finance chairman Steve Mnuchin for Treasury secretary, and Republican National Committee finance chair Lew Eisenberg for commerce secretary.

The report, which cited “three campaign advisers who requested anonymity to speak freely,” also said that Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is in the running for White House chief of staff. As of now, though, it’s not clear if he’s interested in the position, according to NBC.

Trump’s controversial campaign has led many top Republicans to shy away from the candidate, resulting in a limited number of possibilities for the potential president, NBC notes.

Not unlike Vice President Joe Biden, Trump’s running mate Mike Pence is expected to be “heavily involved and expected to have a major role in a Trump administration,” NBC reports.

As for Trump’s involvement in the preemptive transition, a spokesperson first told NBC that he hasn’t been too heavy-handed in the effort. Instead, he “is entirely focused on the campaign and the American people.”
