Matthew McConaughey rarely shows off the Lincoln automobiles he promotes by napping, but his latest commercial gives everyone the chance to watch him doze in the back seat.
Fans of his previous Lincoln spots, marked by monologues that sparked parodies by children and by Saturday Night Live alike, also get some of his car talk in the newest ad. And in “Crafted,” that monologue even turns into a dialogue (with himself, somehow).
Dark Knight cinematographer Wally Pfister directed the 60 seconds of commercial, laden with picturesque shots of McConaughey on an glacial plain in Iceland.
