As former special counsel Robert Mueller testified before Congress on Wednesday, Democrats looked for new details to incriminate President Donald Trump and Republicans looked for ways to discredit Mueller’s investigation.

Trump took to Twitter to continue his defense of “NO OBSTRUCTION,” but he wasn’t the only candidate with eyes on the 2020 election to speak out on social media about the Mueller hearing.

Here’s what the other 2020 presidential candidates had to say on Twitter about Mueller’s testimony:

Steve Bullock [D]

“At every opportunity to cooperate with this investigation and give the American people clarity on what happened in the 2016 election, the Trump Administration chose instead to impede its progress and attack its legitimacy.

“The Special Counsel’s investigation directly led to the guilty plea deals or indictments of six close aides to the President. The American people are ready for an Administration that focuses on making people’s lives better, not avoiding criminal prosecution.”

Beto O’Rourke [D]

“This hearing only confirms the facts: Trump invited an attack on our democracy, obstructed the investigation into it, & made clear there won’t be consequences for launching another. As I’ve said since I was running in TX, he’s unfit for office. Begin impeachment proceedings now.”

Elizabeth Warren [D]

“I read the Mueller report the day it came out. Three things were clear: A hostile foreign government attacked our 2016 election, Trump welcomed their help, and Trump obstructed the investigation into that attack. I agree with @NAACP—it’s time to begin impeachment proceedings.”

Kirsten Gillibrand [D]

“The American people have a right to see the full, unredacted Mueller report. What we’ve seen already is alarming. No wonder President Trump is dead set on blocking the truth. That’s why we need to start impeachment hearings.

“Special Counsel Mueller made clear to the American people that his report did not fully exonerate the president, contrary to those lies. We should have impeachment proceedings with additional witnesses so that the American people can get the truth, as they deserve.

“Our national security also includes online threats. It’s never been more clear that Russia took to the digital battlefield to attack the core of our democracy—and rather than stand strong for our country and our ideals, Trump and his associates welcomed aid from Russia.

“Trump’s lack of response to Russia’s attack on our democracy is shameful. I believe Congress should begin impeachment proceedings to get to the truth. And I’m pleased to hear that Mueller believes that the president can be charged for a crime after he leaves office.

“The world needs America to live up to its tradition of stable leadership. It needs an America dedicated to peacefulness and diplomacy. Our country deserves a new foreign policy—and a president who understands that leadership, integrity, and trust begin in the White House.”

Andrew Yang [D]

“When Trump is the center of attention – even in a negative way – he’s dominating the narrative. We need a new narrative.”

Kamala Harris [D]

“I’ll say it again: Robert Mueller basically returned an impeachment referral in his report. Congress must hold this president accountable. The House must begin impeachment proceedings.”

Cory Booker [D]

“Today’s testimony is an important moment in our country’s history—please tune in”

Seth Moulton [D]

“One lesson from the #MuellerHearings: We need to get rid of the DOJ guideline that a sitting president can’t be indicted. No one should be above the law.

“Mueller makes clear that an unsuccessful attempt to obstruct is still obstruction, refuting a key GOP talking point.

“Since Republicans keep bringing up Hillary Clinton, imagine their outrage if she had refused to be interviewed in the FBI investigation into her emails.

“Our Constitution says the president must be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. We know that Donald Trump has committed crimes. It’s now our job, as Democrats, to impeach him.”

Tim Ryan [D]

“It’s important the American people hear what Mueller has to say today.

“Trump obviously obstructed justice and we need to immediately begin impeachment proceedings so that we can hold him accountable. Protecting our democracy must be our number one priority moving forward.”

“Special Counsel Robert Mueller refused to exonerate President Trump. We heard that clearly and concisely from Robert Mueller, and no matter what the President tweets, that is the truth. Today’s hearing underscores one thing: we need to immediately start impeachment hearings

“President Trump obstructed justice on more than one occasion, and Congress has a constitutional responsibility to exercise oversight of the Executive Branch. . Actions have consequences. No one is above the law, not even the President of the United States.”

Bill Weld [R]

“Sorry @realdonaldtrump. Article 2 of the Constitution does not give you “the right to do whatever” you want. It states that the President “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.

“Ironic timing given that tomorrow the American people will hear again, in gruesome detail from Robert Mueller himself, how you are a walking one-man crime wave.”

Tom Steyer [D]

“Robert Mueller’s report was an impeachment referral. His testimony today will not change that. Congress has had the power to hold the president accountable for months. Enough with the delays. Do your job.

“@realdonaldtrump thinks he is king. Congress has essentially proved him right by failing in their oversight duties. We’re in a Constitutional crisis, and simply voting Trump out in 2020 won’t fix it. We need serious structural reform to our government.

“Why did our Congress go through the motions of hauling Robert Mueller in for testimony if they’re going on vacation in two days? @SpeakerPelosi, we’ve waited long enough. This can’t wait six more weeks.”

John Hickenlooper [D]

“The Mueller investigation found: 37 indictments, 7 convictions or guilty pleas, 10 possible instances of obstruction & lying to investigators about over 100 secret meetings with Russians.

“The president should be loyal to their country. @realDonaldTrump has shown time & time again that he is only loyal to his interests.

“I’m running for president because we deserve better – we deserve a president we can be proud of.”
