The median home value is expected to jump from $355,000 to $384,000 in 2021, according to Fannie May.

The five states with the least expensive median listing price are West Virginia, Ohio, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, according to data from Realtor.com. Here are some houses currently up for sale in those states. 

Least Expensive

1) West Virginia has a median home value of $184,000.

Here’s what you can expect in the state for $174,000. This 1,820 sq ft property in Morgantown has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

2) Ohio has a median home value of $203,375.

Here’s what you can expect in the state for $249,000. Located in the town of Parma, this 1,904 sq ft property has three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. 

3) Arkansas has a median home value of $236,250.

Here’s what you can expect in the state for $280,000. This four bedroom, two bathroom property in the town of Centerton, features walk-in closets, granite countertops, and the master bedroom has a jetted tub and walk-in closet.

4) Kansas has a median home value of $237,000.

Here’s what you can expect in the state for $199,900. This 4,134 sq ft property is located in the town of Coffeyville, and has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

5) Oklahoma has a median home value of $240,000.
