This is Fortune 500 Power Moves, a weekly column tracking executive shifts—from appointments and promotions to resignations and retirements—within the highest ranks of Fortune 500 companies.

Below is a recap of the C-suite developments at America’s highest-revenue-generating companies announced between March 29-April 4, 2025, organized by sector. Titles included in this roundup: CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), COOs (Chief Operating Officers), CFOs (Chief Financial Officers), CIOs (Chief Information Officers), CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officers), and Chief People Officers. We also include CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers) and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Apparel

  • VF (No. 355) has promoted Abhishek Dalmia to the role of EVP, COO, and Principal Operating Officer, effective April 3. Dalmia has served as the company’s EVP and Chief Strategy, Transformation, and Digital Officer for the past year. Prior to joining VF, Dalmia held roles with Boston Consulting Group and Lululemon.

Business services

  • Fiserv (No. 215) appointed Takis Georgakopoulos COO, effective April 3. Georgakopoulos succeeded Guy Chiarello, who transitioned to the role of Vice Chairman supporting enterprise technology strategy and solutions. Georgakopoulos has served as EVP and a member of Fiserv’s management committee since September 2024, and he previously held leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase (No. 12).

Engineering and construction

  • Fluor (No. 265) announced Tracey Cook as the company’s new CHRO, effective April 7. Cook currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Fluor and replaces Stacy Dillow, who is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity.

Financials

  • Hartford Financial Services Group (No. 166) announced Shekar Pannala as the company’s new Chief Information Officer and Jeffery Hawkins as Chief Data, AI, and Operations Officer, effective immediately. Pannala previously served as the global CIO of Chubb and Hawkins formerly served as CIO of CVS Health (No. 6). Deepa Soni, the company’s former Chief Information and Operations Officer, is resigning from the company to pursue a new opportunity. 

Food, beverages, and tobacco

  • Campbell’s (No. 419) announced Aaron Gwinner as the company’s new SVP and Chief Digital and Technology Officer, effective April 14. Gwinner most recently held the role of SVP and Chief Information Officer Reynolds American, and prior to that, worked for Coca-Cola (No. 95) for 26 years. Campbell’s IT will report to Gwinner, a Campbell’s spokesperson told Fortune in an email, and Julia Anderson, SVP, Chief Technology and Information Officer, will depart at the end of July 2025.

Industrials

  • Caterpillar (No. 59) appointed Christy Pambianchi as CHRO, effective May 1. She succeeds Cheryl Johnson, who announced her retirement in January 2025. Pambianchi is departing Intel (No. 79), where she has served as EVP and Chief People Officer.

Motor vehicles and parts

  • Paccar (No. 122) announced that Harrie C.A.M. Schippers is retiring as President and CFO of the company, effective June 2. Brice J. Poplawski, who currently serves as Vice President and Controller of the company, will succeed Schippers.

Retailing

  • Macy’s (No. 172) announced Thomas J. Edwards as the company’s next Chief Operating and Financial Officer, effective June 22. Edwards currently serves as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Capri Holdings Limited. He will replace current CFO and COO Adrian Mitchell.

Technology

  • As mentioned above, Christy Pambianchi is departing Intel (No. 79), where she was EVP and Chief People Officer, to become CHRO of Caterpillar (No. 59). Intel has not yet named a successor.

  • Preston Wells succeeded Glenn S. Boehnlein as CFO of Stryker (No. 197) on April 1.
  • Michael Bowes assumed the role of Chief People Officer at Estée Lauder (No. 259) on April 1. 
  • Luc Bellet succeeded Kevin Jacobson as CFO of Clorox (No. 485) on April 1.
