Looking for a simple investment that makes your savings work for you by earning interest at a generous rate? If you’re willing to venture away from the financial institution that you bank with regularly, you’ll find some extremely valuable deposit account options that may yield well over 4.00% annual percentage yield (APY).

My eBanc offers a lineup of such certificates of deposit (CDs). Its return rates are unusually high. Still, My eBanc CDs won’t fit everyone’s needs due to high minimum deposit requirements. Here’s what to know before opening an account.

Rates are current as of Aug. 26, 2025 and are subject to change.

My eBanc CD rates and products

My eBanc features three types of Time Deposit (another name for a CD): standard, jumbo, and flex. My eBanc doesn’t offer any of its accounts in the form of business or IRA CDs, unfortunately.

Each account type comes with unique term lengths and minimum deposit requirements.

The entry requirement for a standard My eBanc CD is $5,000 . That’s a bit rich compared to many other financial institutions—but the reward is some of the highest returns on the market. You’ll earn up to 4.45% APY as of this writing, depending on the CD type and term length you choose.

Standard CDs

My eBanc offers five term lengths for its standard CDs, from six months to three years. Each option yields an impressive return—ideal for CD laddering. The big deterrent is its minimum $5,000 deposit.

My eBanc standard CD features

Minimum opening deposit$5,000
Early withdrawal penalty– Terms between 6 and12 months: 3 months’ interest on the amount withdrawn
– Terms between 18 and 24 months: 6 months’ interest on the amount withdrawn
– Term of 36 months: 9 months’ interest on the amount withdrawn

Flex CDs

Typically, you’ll be dinged a considerable sum for taking out your money before your account matures. Flex CDs waive this early withdrawal penalty, allowing you to access your money at almost any time. Such accounts often come with a far lower APY—but My eBanc’s flex CD options don’t; you can still earn up to 3.30% APY, depending on the amount of money you deposit.

However, the minimum to open this account is a whopping $10,000.

Jumbo CDs

To open a My eBanc jumbo CD, you must deposit at least $50,000. You can choose from identical term lengths as its standard CD offerings—but with higher APYs across the board.

Compare My eBanc to competitors

All My eBanc CDs offer impressive earning rates. But a $5,000+ minimum deposit may not be accessible to everyone. Here’s a look at some competitors that demand less (or no) minimum deposit.

Learn more about My eBanc

My eBanc is a digital arm of Bradesco Bank, a financial institution headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. It operates offices in New York and Miami, as well.

My eBanc doesn’t itself offer many bank products; you won’t find personal loans, IRAs, etc. It specializes in high-yield deposit accounts, such as CDs, high-yield savings accounts, and money market accounts, along with an interest-bearing checking account. If you’re looking for a storage spot for your savings, My eBanc could be an ideal repository for those willing to pony up in exchange for generous earning rates.

But, for those who don’t wish to swallow the eye-popping minimums required—we should note that the money market and checking accounts each require a $5,000 deposit or more, and savings starts at $25,000—you’ll want to consider other institutions, such as our picks for the best checking accounts.
