Apple has issued a recall on some charge cables bundled with the company’s MacBook. Dubbed the Apple USB-C Charge Cable Replacement Program, the recall affects only those customers who bought a MacBook through June 2015 and do not have the redesigned cable.

On its support page, Apple said that the affected cables read “Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China.” MacBook owners with cables that have a serial number after that text are not affected and therefore not eligible for the recall.

Apple blamed the recall on a “design issue” that affects only MacBook owners. The company said that affected users may discover that their faulty cables “may not charge or only charge intermittently” when connected to a power adapter.

“Apple will provide a new, redesigned USB-C charge cable, free of charge, to all eligible customers,” the company wrote on its support page. “This program also covers Apple USB-C charge cables that were sold as a standalone accessory.”

Although the MacBook has been around for over a decade, Apple relaunched the new model in April 2015. The notebook comes with a 12-inch screen, a slim design, and three color options. One of its most notable features, however, is the use of a USB-C port. The port, which is not found in other Apple notebooks, including the company’s MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, allows not only for charging, but also data transfer and video output. It was one of the highlights in Apple’s MacBook presentation last year, and may eventually come to future Apple products.

The USB-C recall is the second from Apple this year. The company last month announced that it would replace certain AC wall plug adapters across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries. That recall affected a small number of adapters that were susceptible for breaking or creating an electrical shock if touched.

Apple is promising to ship the replacement cable to MacBook owners by the end of February 2016. Users can apply for a replacement by visiting an Apple Retail Store or an authorized service provider. Users can also contact Apple support.

An Apple spokesperson referred Fortune to the recall page. The company did not add a comment to the comments made in the support page posting.
