Our Experience with 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50
1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50 is a greens superfood powder available in chocolate or natural berry flavor. It contains 50 ingredients including a green superfood complex, phytonutrients, a glycemic balance blend, digestive enzymes, and a probiotic blend. While the ingredients label does list all 50 ingredients, the amounts of each are unclear due to the proprietary blends. Some ingredients are listed as organic (kale, wheatgrass, barley grass, spinach, and more) while others are not (fruit extracts, cocoa, green tea extract, and more).
Paige tested the chocolate flavor of 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50. She had an overall good experience. “This greens powder would be a great way to curb your sweet tooth. I’d have to see how well this product benefitted my digestion long term, since the price is a little high per serving. I do think the taste and quality of the ingredients definitely add to its value,” she said. Read on for her full review.
What We Liked
Here’s what Paige rated highly after trying 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50.
First Impression (5 out of 5): Paige liked how the packaging is a resealable bag. “The seal closes with ease and does not leak if tipped over,” she said. “The bag itself is easy to store and travel with. A scoop is also included.”
Instructions (5 out of 5): The instructions are clearly labeled and easy to read and understand, per Paige. “For best results, the directions say to drink immediately after mixing and have one or more servings per day.”
Mixability (5 out of 5): The product dissolves well in the recommended amount of water. “It is a lot of powder for a small amount of water, so the texture is a little thicker and murkier,” Paige said. “There are no visible chunks, however, the drink did separate when I let it sit for a little while.”
Taste (5 out of 5): “I really enjoy the chocolate flavor, surprisingly! It’s not too sweet or two bitter; the flavor is very balanced,” Paige said. She likes that there is no weird earthy/grassy taste like she’s experienced with other greens powders. “Usually, if greens powders are flavored, it’s with a fruit taste. I like this chocolate flavor the best!” She also noted that the mouth feel is a bit dense since it’s made with two scoops of powder and eight ounces of water, but it wasn’t unpleasant.
Side Effects (5 out of 5): Paige felt great after taking this product; she didn’t have any adverse effects or GI upset. “There are a lot of positive reviews stating that this powder helped keep digestion regular, which I would look forward to experiencing if I took this product long term,” she said.

A dietary supplement like a greens powder provides a multivitamin along with minerals, and sometimes other supportive ingredients like probiotics, prebiotics, or digestive enzymes. This type of supplement can be helpful for folks who are too busy to eat healthful meals throughout their day (or just simply don’t get enough fruits and veggies through their diet alone). What’s great about 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50 is that it is both NSF-Certified for Sport and Informed Choice certified, perfect for professionals looking for a greens supplement that’s free of banned substances and third-party tested.
Comparing 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50 to Other Greens Powders
Fortune’s Final Thoughts
There’s a lot to like about 1st Phorm Opti-Greens 50. The chocolate flavor makes it stand out from other greens powders on the market, and our tester loved the taste. Mixability was generally good; however, the drink did separate quite quickly after shaking. The certifications (both NSF Certified for Sport and Informed Choice certified) are encouraging, though the ingredient details (amounts of each) are hidden behind proprietary blends.
